Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to take ownership of Darktrace's interactive demo estate, shaping how our products are showcased to prospects, customers, and internal teams across the business.

This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of product, storytelling, technical content, and people leadership. You will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our demo platforms, while managing a small team and partnering closely with Product Development, Product Marketing, Enablement, Sales Engineering, Analysts, and GTM teams globally.

As part of Darktrace's continued investment in interactive product experiences, you will play a key role in driving the evolution of our product sandbox environment (Labs), ensuring our demonstrations are engaging, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.

This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from our Cambridge office.

What you'll be doing

Product Management & Labs Strategy

  • Define and drive the vision and strategy for Darktrace's demo ecosystem.
  • Own and prioritise the demo product roadmap in partnership with Engineering.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders across Sales, Product Marketing, R&D, and Enablement to deliver impactful solutions at pace.
  • Lead the ongoing transition of demonstrations from on-rails walkthroughs to live sandbox environments available to all, improving accessibility, usability, and customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to use demo experiences to surface product gaps, support adoption, and strengthen product storytelling.

Demo, Scenario & Training Content

  • Oversee the creation and evolution of interactive demos and walkthrough experiences.
  • Guide the development of compelling customer journeys, attack simulations, and product scenarios that showcase Darktrace's capabilities.
  • Maintain and evolve a portfolio of training, video, and enablement content.
  • Partner with content specialists to define scripts, storyboards, e-learning modules, and multimedia assets that support both customer and internal audiences.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a team of two technical content specialists.
  • Set priorities, allocate work, and ensure delivery against product release cycles and business objectives.
  • Support coaching, development planning, and growth opportunities across the team.
  • Act as the primary technical and strategic point of contact for the demo estate.

What we're looking for

Essential Experience

  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong product or programme management capabilities, with experience building roadmaps and aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience leading customer-facing technical content, demos, training programmes, or similar initiatives.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging experiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, self-directed approach to delivery.

Desirable Experience

  • Background in technical enablement, education, e-learning, or multimedia content production.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity concepts, products, or technical domains.
  • Experience with demo capture and product experience platforms such as Reprise, Storylane, or Navattic.
  • Understanding of video production, graphic assets, subtitles, and training content creation.

Benefits:

  • 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service,

  • Additional day off for your birthday,

  • Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children,

  • Life insurance of 4 times your base salary,

  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme,

  • Enhanced family leave,

  • Confidential Employee Assistance Program,

  • Cycle to work scheme.

As a growing business strengthening its governance and controls, this role plays a part in supporting high standards of integrity and accountability.
