About the Role

We are a growing business operating across the legal services sector and we are looking for a capable, pragmatic Full Stack Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, end-to-end engineering role. You will own projects from idea through to live deployment - building internal operational tools, workflow automations, backend services, and frontend dashboards that support our day-to-day operations. You will be the primary technical owner on most of what you build. That means we are not looking for someone who needs a detailed spec for every task. We want someone who can take a business problem, ask the right questions, and ship a working solution.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery • Take projects from initial brief through to deployment and iteration • Work across multiple concurrent workstreams independently • Make sensible calls on speed versus long-term maintainability Systems, Automation & Integrations • Design and build workflow-driven systems integrating CRM platforms • Implement automations including using tools such as Power Automate • Build API integrations, webhooks, and event-driven data flows • Ensure reliable data syncing with proper error handling and retry logic Backend Development • Build and maintain services using .NET (C#) • Design and manage relational data models (SQL Server or similar) • Handle background processing and core business logic • Refactor and improve existing systems where needed Frontend & UI • Build internal dashboards and operational tooling • Develop clean, responsive interfaces using React (preferred) • Build and maintain external-facing websites, landing pages, and marketing pages - working with WordPress, Webflow, or custom builds depending on the projec • Translate complex workflows into simple, usable interfaces AI & Third-Party Tooling • Integrate with AI APIs including LLMs, voice, and document processing services • Decide pragmatically when to build custom versus when to use existing tools Reliability & Security • Build systems that handle real-world load securely and reliably • Keep code clean, well-structured, and maintainable without heavy oversight Tech Stack Category Technologies Core Backend .NET / C#, SQL Server, REST APIs, Webhooks Frontend React (preferred), modern CSS, responsive design CMS/Web WordPress, Webflow, or similar Automation & Integration Power Automate, CRM platforms Cloud Azure (preferred) AI & Tooling (Bonus) OpenAI, ElevenLabs, OCR tools, LLM APIs

What We Are Looking For

You do not need to have worked at a big tech firm or have a computer science degree. What matters is that you can point to real things you have built, you are comfortable owning work end-to-end, and you can move quickly without breaking everything. Specifically, we would like to see: • Around 1–3 years of practical experience building real systems (equivalent project-based experience considered) • Solid full stack capability across both backend and frontend • Proven ability to own and deliver projects independently • Comfortable working across integrations, APIs, and automation tools • Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset - you bias towards shipping • Ability to context-switch across backend, frontend, and integrations within the same week

What Good Looks Like • You have built systems end-to-end on your own before • You think in workflows and data, not just isolated code • You can take a messy brief and turn it into a working product • You know when to build custom and when to reach for an existing tool • You write code that someone else can maintain without a handover document This Role Is Probably Not Right For You If • You specialise exclusively in one area (frontend only or backend only) • You need detailed specifications before you can begin work • You tend to over-engineer solutions when something simpler would do • You are not comfortable owning delivery without close supervision

What We Offer • Salary of £40,000+ depending on experience • Genuine variety - no two weeks look the same • Ownership and autonomy over the things you build • A small, practical team with no unnecessary process • Real business impact from day one

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

The artificial intelligence job market in the UK is evolving at an extraordinary pace. With record-breaking investment, government backing, and a surge in enterprise adoption, the landscape of AI employers is shifting rapidly. For candidates exploring opportunities on ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, understanding who is hiring next is just as important as understanding what skills are in demand. In this article, we explore the new and emerging AI employers to watch in 2026, focusing on organisations that have recently secured funding, won major contracts, or expanded their UK footprint. From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.

How Many AI Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an AI Job?

If you are job hunting in AI right now it can feel like you are drowning in tools. Every week there is a new framework, a new “must-learn” platform or a new productivity app that everyone on LinkedIn seems to be using. The result is predictable: job seekers panic-learn a long list of tools without actually getting better at delivering outcomes. Here is the truth most hiring managers will quietly agree with. They do not hire you because you know 27 tools. They hire you because you can solve a problem, communicate trade-offs, ship something reliable and improve it with feedback. Tools matter, but only in service of outcomes. So how many AI tools do you actually need to know? For most AI job seekers: fewer than you think. You need a tight core toolkit plus a role-specific layer. Everything else is optional. This guide breaks it down clearly, gives you a simple framework to choose what to learn and shows you how to present your toolset on your CV, portfolio and interviews.
