Job Description:
We are seeking a skilledData Visualization Specialistto join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering insightful and visually compelling data presentations. The ideal candidate will have handson experience using a variety of data visualization tools and techniques as well as familiarity with thirdparty component libraries to enhance data presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in an Agile or Scrum development environment collaborating with crossfunctional teams to create highquality userfriendly visualizations that help stakeholders make datadriven decisions.
As a Data Visualization Specialist you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive and static visualizations that convey complex data in a clear and actionable manner. You will leverage industrystandard visualization tools to present data insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design develop and implement data visualizations to transform complex data into clear intuitive and actionable insights.
  • Use industrystandard visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI D3.js etc. to create interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Leverage thirdparty component libraries to enhance the functionality and visual appeal of data visualizations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and tailor visualizations to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with data scientists analysts and other team members to ensure data accuracy and relevance in visualizations.
  • Participate in Agile or Scrum development processes contributing to sprint planning retrospectives and reviews.
  • Ensure that visualizations are userfriendly accessible and meet design and usability standards.
  • Optimize and streamline visualizations for performance scalability and ease of use.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders in the use of data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends best practices and tools in data visualization and user experience design.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education:Associate or Bachelor of Science in Analytics Statistics Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Mathematics or related disciplines.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience using multiple data visualization applications and leveraging common industry visualization tools.
    • At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
  • Clearance:Active Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI D3.js or similar.
  • Experience with thirdparty component libraries and customization for advanced visualizations.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database management techniques.
  • Strong understanding of usercentered design principles and best practices for creating intuitive and engaging visualizations.
  • Experience with JavaScript HTML or CSS for custom visualizations and enhancements.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
