You’ll be joining a deeply ambitious founding team of 7 (4 in engineering) who are scaling a high-performance, global product from the ground up.

Responsibilities for the Back End Developer, Go focused, Product Engineer | B2C AI, Next-generation Commerce Platform | Up to £110k + Equity | London, Hybrid Flex


  • Write, maintain and ship high-quality production code across backend and frontend components
  • Take full ownership of end-to-end projects, communicating clearly and working closely with product and founders
  • Design and build reliable, performant APIs for internal platform teams and external customers
  • Develop intuitive, user-focused features that align with product strategy
  • Collaborate with designers, customers and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful updates
  • Ensure systems are scalable, robust, and maintainable as usage grows
  • Wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment, contributing wherever needed
  • Play a key role in shaping engineering culture and delivery standards


Requirements for the Back End Developer, Go focused, Product Engineer | B2C AI, Next-generation Commerce Platform | Up to £110k + Equity | London, Hybrid Flex

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong backend experience in Golang, Node.js or similar languages
  • Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience building SDKs, libraries, or developer tools
  • Strong understanding of system design for data-intensive or real-time applications
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend architecture
  • Familiar with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)
  • Experience deploying to cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure)
  • Strong eye for UX and detail-oriented implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and a high-ownership mindset
  • Ability to operate autonomously with minimal hand-holding in a start-up environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience with LLMs or prompt engineering

Join a founding engineering team building a new class of AI-driven consumer products.


You’ll help design and scale:

  • High-performance backend and data processing services
  • Computer Vision–powered pipelines and intelligent matching systems
  • Stable, secure client-facing APIs and developer SDKs
  • Frontend interfaces for internal tooling and product experiences
  • Full-stack features combining clean engineering with intuitive UX


Tech stack includes: Golang, TypeScript, React, GCP, PostgreSQL, Python (scripting), BigQuery, plus modern tooling across the stack.


You’ll help define the architecture and engineering standards for a product expected to reach millions of users.

  • Salary £60,000 – £110,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)
