AI Product Manager

Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Initially Remote, Hybrid Office to Follow)
Salary: $220,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a rapidly growing, family-owned alternative lender transforming the future of SMB lending through AI. Rather than experimenting with AI, this business already has production-grade AI agents generating real commercial value across core lending operations and has achieved over 70% AI transformation across the business.

The next phase is even more ambitious, expanding AI into Sales, Customer Success, Finance and other commercial functions. The company has built its reputation around speed, innovation and delivering measurable business outcomes, offering the opportunity to help shape AI transformation at a business where it directly impacts revenue.

As an AI Product Project Manager, you will report into the Director of AI Product and lead one of the company's AI transformation initiatives from discovery through to production. Working as part of a dedicated pod alongside a Data Scientist and Engineer, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of an AI project while partnering closely with business stakeholders.

This is a true 0-to-1 role where you'll sit with SMEs, map existing workflows, and completely re-imagine how they could operate using AI. Rather than improving existing processes, you'll help design entirely new AI-first ways of working, ensuring every solution delivers measurable business outcomes.

• Lead an AI transformation project from discovery through to deployment.
• Run discovery sessions with SMEs to understand and map business processes.
• Re-imagine workflows from scratch using AI rather than simply automating existing tasks.
• Work closely with Engineering, Data Science and Architecture to design production-ready AI solutions.
• Own delivery across your project, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring successful execution.
• Measure success through tangible business outcomes and operational improvements.
• Support user adoption and continuous improvement after deployment.

You'll have:

• Experience delivering AI-enabled products or AI transformation projects.
• Proven experience redesigning business processes using AI, not just implementing AI features.
• Strong product management or project management experience across strategy and execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to work closely with business SMEs and technical teams.
• Experience working alongside engineers and architects to shape solution design.
• A commercial mindset with a focus on measurable business impact.
• Ideally experience within fintech, lending or another fast-paced B2B technology business, particularly within smaller, high-growth organisations.
