Vehicle Cleanliness Operative required to work for client Northern Ireland Ambulance Service based in Broadway, Belfast. Successful candidates must be reliable and flexible to work required shift patterns that may involve nights, weekends and public holidays and must currently hold a Category C1 driving licence as you will be required to transport the associated vehicles. The rate of pay will be £11.67 per hour Monday to Friday, £15.75 per hour on a Saturday and £20.95 per hour on a Sunday and will be weekly pay. This role is 30 hours per week and set to last 6 months minimum. On occasion, the candidate will be required to travel to various locations in the Belfast area such as Ardoyne and Bridge End. The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that ambulances, equipment and consumables are in a state of immediate readiness. The post holder will prepare ambulances for operational duty to an agreed quality standard for the safety and wellbeing of NIAS Staff and Patients. This will include cleaning, decontaminating, re- stocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks and safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical).
