Job Description

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Care Assistant in Havant to provide essential care to clients in Havant and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care, meals, and light housework
Offering companionship and emotional support
Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
Administering medication and monitoring health changes
Keeping accurate care records and collaborating with the team
Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary

This role is vital for ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Qualifications

Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
Previous care assistant experience preferred, but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
Valid driving licence and own vehicle
Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
