Job Description

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Care Assistant in Havant to provide essential care to clients in Havant and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care, meals, and light housework
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
  • Administering medication and monitoring health changes
  • Keeping accurate care records and collaborating with the team
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary


This role is vital for ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Qualifications

  • Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
  • Previous care assistant experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
  • Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
  • Valid driving licence and own vehicle
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
  • Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
