About the Role:

A leading gaming studio is seeking a

Data Scientist

to provide insights into player behaviour, marketing strategies, and ROI for key initiatives. You will work with SQL, Python, and predictive modelling to support data-driven decisions for a free-to-play game.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse SQL and Python-based datasets to generate insights.Assess the impact of seasonal events (e.g., Halloween) on revenue.Develop predictive models to forecast player engagement and monetisation trends.Measure ROI on board-driven initiatives and provide actionable insights.Collaborate with marketing and game development teams to optimise strategies.Key Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with SQL and Python for data analysis.Background in predictive modelling and marketing analytics.Understanding of gaming industry data and player behaviour.Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.Desired Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and reporting.Strong background in predictive modelling and marketing analytics.Experience with gaming industry data, including player behaviour and monetisation strategies.Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of seasonal trends and their impact on gaming revenue.Experience with ROI analysis and supporting data-driven decision-making.
