The Role

An experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales & Marketing is sought to lead the company's commercial operations and accelerate the success of its groundbreaking analytical tools. This executive role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales and marketing functions, from strategy development and market entry to driving revenue growth and managing a high-performing team. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact in the life sciences sector and play a critical role in the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive go-to-market (GtM) strategy for the company's flagship product and future innovations. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives to drive long-term success.

Sales Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting ambitious targets and developing effective sales plans to achieve revenue goals. Continuously refine sales strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.

Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new markets and customer segments within the life sciences industry. Develop targeted initiatives to drive brand awareness and establish a strong presence in these areas.

Marketing Strategy: Oversee brand positioning, lead generation, and customer acquisition campaigns. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent, impactful messaging and drive customer engagement.

Strategic Partnerships: Leverage an extensive industry network to form strategic relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners. Drive large-scale collaborations and business development opportunities to expand the company's reach.

Product Launches: Take charge of global product launches, working cross-functionally with R&D, customer support, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and adoption.

Customer Engagement: Gain a deep understanding of customer needs in the biotechnology sector to help anticipate trends and refine the company's offerings for continued success.

Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on sales and marketing performance to the executive team, providing actionable insights and forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

At least 10 years of senior-level commercial experience within the life sciences industry, with a preference for candidates with expertise in analytical instruments, bioprocess hardware, or related fields.
Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related life science discipline (PhD preferred).
Proven track record of successfully launching products, driving market expansion, and achieving significant revenue growth.
Strong network within the biotechnology sector, particularly in areas such as Cell Line Development, Process Development, and Upstream Manufacturing.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.What We Offer
