Job Description Hybrid: This role is categorized ashybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to reportto Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum. The Role We areseeking a Team Leader to lead GM Motorsport's Formula 1 TireResearch and Development group in developing and integrating tiremodels with simulation (real-time and off-line) using flat track,test, race event, and other applicable data to improve tireperformance. You will collect information from sources inside andoutside GM, characterize tire models and interpret results formotorsports. As a key team member, you will attend Motorsportstesting domestically and internationally, cooperate with GMaffiliated Motorsports teams, and enable the transfer of knowledgefrom Motorsports to GM Production. In this constantly evolvingenvironment, the team works with innovative testing and analyticaltechnologies to review tire force and moment (F&M) propertiesto virtually integrate tire performance to enable vehicle dynamicssimulations for original equipment applications as well.
