As a Security Engineering Manager in AWSSecurity, you’ll lead a team in building and managing innovativeservices that detect and automate the mitigation of cyber threatsacross all of Amazon’s infrastructure. You’ll manage softwaredevelopment engineers, data scientists, and security engineers todevelop innovative security solutions at a massive scale. Ourservices help protect AWS for all customers, preserving ourcustomers’ trust in us. When we feel supportedin the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of engineering team managementexperience - 5+ years of working knowledge and understanding ofsecurity engineering, system and network security, authenticationand security protocols, cryptography, and application security - 1+years of endpoint detection engineering experience - Experiencemanaging and building teams that develop, maintain, and scaleproduction software PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experiencepartnering with product or program management teams - Experience incommunicating with users, other technical teams, and seniorleadership to collect requirements, describe software productfeatures, technical designs, and product strategy - Experiencebuilding scalable, high-performance software systems that have beensuccessfully delivered to customers - Knowledge of engineeringpractices and patterns for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source controlmanagement, build processes, testing, and operational excellenceAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
