Your day at NTT DATA

The Technical Services Implementation Engineer (L2) is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring that client solution requirements are resolved in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).

This role performs configurations, action installations and attend to break/fix events.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities & Duties

• Implementing audio-visual systems tailored to client needs

• Performing installation and setup of AV equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools

• Conducting troubleshooting of AV systems

• Configuring and calibrating AV equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Providing technical support and training for users on AV system operation

• Collaborating with network engineers to integrate AV systems into network infrastructure

• Managing and documenting inventory of equipment and accessories

• Staying up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends

• Understanding detailed system installation diagrams and technical drawings/documentation

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or a related field

• Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist - Design), Audiovisual Network Professional® Certification

• Experience with AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, or AMX

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software for system layout

• Expertise in networking and IP-based AV solutions

• Strong understanding of acoustics and sound system design

• Project management skills and experience leading AV projects

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Willingness to stay current with evolving AV technologies

• Proven experience as an AV Engineer or similar related role.

• In-depth knowledge of AV systems and components

• Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of AV equipment

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

• Comfortable working with cabling, wiring, and electrical systems

• Ability to lift and carry heavy AV equipment as required

• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• Flexibility to travel to different sites for installations and support

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to AV installations

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
