We are seeking a Post Trade Data Analyst and Optimizer to join our dynamic team in London. This role will involve scrutinizing data generated from our trading strategies, using machine learning to optimize parameters, and building corresponding automated models to continuously fine-tune our trading strategies. The successful candidate will have strong skills in machine learning, Python, SQL, data feature engineering, and Java. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyse post-trade data to derive meaningful insights that can help refine our trading strategies. Use machine learning techniques to optimize trading parameters and predict trading outcomes. 2. Build and maintain automated models for consistent and efficient trading strategy optimization. Implement and maintain SQL databases for data management and query optimization. 3. Apply data feature engineering techniques to improve model performance. 4. Use Python and Java programming languages for data analysis, model development, and system integration. 5. Continuously update trading strategy parameters based on analytical findings to improve overall trading performance. 6. Present findings to stakeholders, providing recommendations on how to enhance trading strategies. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful implementation of optimized trading strategies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience in analysing large datasets and using statistical techniques to derive insights. Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages. Experience with SQL databases, including the ability to write optimized queries. Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application, including the ability to use ML for parameter optimization and automated model building. Experience in data feature engineering. Understanding of financial markets and trading strategies is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to present analytical findings and recommendations.
