Job description: A vacancy has arisen for a Technical Services Officer to join our Technical Department on a full-time, permanent basis within the Dawn Farms (DF) group in the UK to support the Technical Services Manager.Job overview:Within this role you will be reporting into the Technical Services Manager, and you will have direct exposure to multiple technical function aspects of a fast-paced, growing food manufacturer, whilst working closely with production and other support functions of the business.Purpose of the role:The purpose of the role is to work closely with the factory teams to ensure that customer and external audit requirements, including BRC, M&S and Tesco are met. You will support in maintaining and improving standards of product safety, legality, traceability, quality through management of technical aspects such as pest control, customer complaints and CCP validation.Key Responsibilities:The role will be a key part of the Technical Services Team, where you will have responsibility for management and enforcement of site systems, along with technical processes to drive KPI standards through active engagement, problem-solving and building relationships.There will also be an opportunity to be more hands-on and factory focused as a support role for the Quality Assurance team to audit the GMP standards of the factory and use your experience and knowledge to educate staff around the site towards continuous improvement.We are looking for someone who is flexible, has a strong understanding of food technical requirements, HACCP and what good looks like in a food factory. Above all, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can learn quickly and work well with key stakeholders in reviewing and driving factory standards.Skills; Qualifications & Experience Required:Experience within food manufacturingProduct specification experience is desirableAbility to communicate at all levels, both written and verbalExcellent attention to detailGood numeracy and literacy skillsStrong IT skills competent user of Microsoft OfficeTPBN1_UKTJ
