Architecture Services is a team comprising three technical disciplines: Hybrid Platforms, NetCon & Cyber, and Workspace. This role is within the Hybrid Platforms discipline, which focuses on HCI, on-premise datacentre, backup, and cloud-based datacentre solutions across various vendors and technologies.

As a Presales Professional – Dell, you will join the Datacentre Solutions team within Architecture Services, where you'll be responsible for translating clients' business requirements into innovative, well-considered solutions—whether on-premises or within a hybrid-cloud environment.

You will lead early-stage sales engagements by producing initial Bill of Materials (BoM) sizing and supporting enablement activities, drawing on your in-depth knowledge of the Dell datacentre portfolio.

As a Presales Professional, you will act as a Technical Design Authority (TDA) within projects—either overseeing a specific technical stream or the entire solution, depending on your experience and seniority.

 

As Presales Professional – Dell, you'll be responsible for: 

Understanding customer challenges and recommending suitable products or services to address technical requirements

Delivering technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, webinars, and proposals—particularly around new and disruptive technologies

Producing documentation to support solution builds and designs

Using appropriate tools for sizing, analysis, and BoM creation, while managing opportunities internally

Collaborating proactively with our Dell vendor alliances and channel manager on relevant campaigns
