We are world leaders in communications, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, securing data for communication and processing and providing advanced training for the systems and platform that BAE Systems delivers.About you:You might come from a number of different backgrounds: MoD; Defence Supplier; Commercial Radio OEMYou will have a good network of relevant individuals from across MoD, User Communities and Defence Supply ChainYou will be able to influence MoD thinking on future requirements and technology selectionYou will have a strong engineering/technical background and have experience of translating customer need and operational context into solutionsSkills/Experiences:You will be seen in your current position as a Radio/RF expert covering uses of convential radios for communications and EW and software defined radios used in CEMA applicationsYou will have a strong understanding of conventional and emarging technologies in the field of radio and RF systems, and will be able to make judgements about their suitability in given applicationsYou will have led the integration of radios in complex comms/EW systems in multiple domains at mixed security levelsYou will understand the performance of various radio systems and antennae in their operational useActivities:Acting as a technical expert guiding and supervising the development of novel RF systems and sub-systems in the area of CEMA and communication systems. Building relationships with customers and partners and helping to define and bid deliverable programmes.
