Job Purpose:The Surgical Application Specialist is a national position that reports directly to the Product Marketing organization and is the primary clinical marketing/study and sales support resource for the Company and its sales team for its Endosurgical portfolio. The SAS is responsible for supporting the achievement of sales for the entire Fujifilm Endosurgical portfolio, with an added focus of being a subject matter expert for the Endoscopy division as it relates to Eluxeo Vision. The individual must command significant clinical and product knowledge in this specialized area and work with KOLs and customers and cross-functionally with company personnel, including sales/sales management, clinical specialists, product/clinical marketing, and field service engineers in order to execute company initiatives. Provide support to the implementation of clinical studies and the development of clinical applications for Eluxeo Vision. Provides support to the clinical demonstration of the product and assists in facilitating closure of the sale. Provides education and training to Company personnel, customers, and sales partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in driving sales revenue at a regional and national level. Work closely with sales leadership to prioritize engagement and demo activities as it relates to the entire Endosurgery portfolio with a focus on Eluxeo Vision. Lead the pre-demonstration (pre-demo) process which includes ordering demo equipment, installation/in-service and communicating case schedules, and trials for Fujifilm’s Endosurgical portfolios with a focus on Eluxeo Vision. Support clinical studies for Fujifilm’s Endosurgical portfolios with a focus on Eluxeo Vision. Provide case summary as well as summary of cases. Act as the primary driver for the demonstration and sharing of clinical and product knowledge of Fujifilm’s Endosurgical and Eluxeo Vision product lines at a national level. With a primary focus on Surgical applications and Eluxeo Vision, provide technical and clinical-knowledge assistance for all Endosurgery related products to in-house personnel as well as in the field to customers and company representatives and support personnel. Support the proliferation of information and education supporting the entire Fujifilm Endosurgical portfolio including Eluxeo Vision. Be a primary resource for the training of customers on the proper use and clinical utility of equipment in the clinical setting. Be a primary resource for educational materials in the field. Work in conjunction with the Product & Marketing Team in the on-going development of required educational resources for the customer, sales team, Field Service Team and internal support personnel for all Endosurgical technologies but with a focus on Eluxeo Vision. Support the training of new field sales and support personnel when requested. Perform as the field-based expert on proper reprocessing techniques for use by its customers. Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to management as directed. Provide and maintain customer data for integration into CRM. Attend local, regional, and national trade shows as requested. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of related field sales or clinical experience in the operating room. Knowledge / familiarity with thoracic, general, bariatric, and colorectal surgery related products and procedures desired.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, healthcare, biomedical or related disciplines preferred.

Able to professionally communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving situations and needs strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficient in use of MS Outlook and other email applications. Operate a computer effectively and efficiently, including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint. Effectively manage time and budget requirements. Must be able to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously. Ability to write reports and relay information accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to prioritize customer requirements. Ability to speak in front of small groups of people. Ability to speak professionally and relay technical information. Possess driver’s license.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, ability to use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel

Ability to travel 75% of time and as required based on business need.

Salary and Benefits:

$101,378 - $108,000.00 (depending on experience) + a $10,000.00 variable bonus opportunity Medical, Dental, Vision Life Insurance 401k Paid Time Off
