The India Payments Tech in Hyderabad is responsible to build product and technology solutions to build great payments products and experiences using various technologies to solve complex problems related to distributed systems, scalable architecture, machine learning, and algorithms.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Tech SOP driven task to drive code changes across multiple tier-1 services.
  2. Improving system monitoring (issue detection) and configuring auto mitigation steps (issue mitigation).
  3. Identifying automation opportunities and implementing it to optimize redundant processes.
  4. Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance.
  5. System and Support status reporting.
  6. Customer notification and workflow coordination and follow-up to maintain service level agreements.
  7. Maintaining prompt communication while working with external partners (outside Amazon).
  8. Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience.
  2. Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
  3. Experience scripting in modern program languages.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Good communication (Writing and speaking) skills.
