One of our most exciting clients (global pharmaceutical company) is seeking a Statistical Programmer for a remote role within England. This position will be integral to the successful delivery and advancement of cutting-edge oncology treatments by supporting the development of robust statistical analyses and reporting deliverables, including ADaM datasets and TLFs. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring clinical data is accurately analyzed and presented, providing vital insights that contribute to the successful implementation of transformative therapies and support Astellas' mission to improve patient outcomes globally.
Key Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of experience in Statistical Programming, with strong hands-on expertise in ADaM datasets, analysis dataset creation, associated metadata, and the generation of tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
- Oncology experience is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical data standards, ADaM datasets, TLFs, and submission guidelines.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python) for statistical/data science tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate project goals, timelines, and milestones.
- Identify interdependencies and potential project constraints, ensuring project alignment.
- Assign roles, track progress, and ensure stakeholders meet deadlines and budgetary targets.
- Analyse and interpret complex datasets, clearly communicating results, and educating others on data-driven insights.
- Leverage expertise in statistical modeling, data mining, descriptive statistics, and other advanced data analysis techniques.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical data standards (ADaMs, TLFs) and submission guidelines.
- Hands-on programming experience in one or more statistical/data science languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python), with expertise in data manipulation and analysis of diverse data types.
- Understanding of the data science lifecycle, including ETL processes, data quality, statistical analysis, machine learning, and randomisation.
- Familiarity with study documents, such as Protocols, SAPs, TLF specifications, and data specifications.
