This is a permanent, fulltime position of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse, who is keen to develop their practice and experience and join the multidisciplinary teams within Medical High Dependency within Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in acute nursing to join our team. Previous experience in critical care nursing would be an advantage, but individuals with interest and potential from other backgrounds will also be considered. A high level of interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Applicants should be able to adapt to an unpredictable, rapidly evolving, technologically advanced work environment and able to cope with change.
The medical high dependency unit has 14 beds comprising of 8 level 2 care beds and 6 level 1 care beds.
You will be required to be registered on the UK NMC Register. Previous Band 5 experience / critical care experience would be desirable. You will have completed the Flying Start Programme, and you must be willing to undertake further study.
