Staff Nurse - Community Children's Nurse

This position is for community children's nurse within the Integrated community children's Nursing Service. You will facilitate and co-ordinate a family focussed, holistic package of care for children who have complex health care needs, which empowers and enables families to remain independent and competent in coping with their child’s condition and to enhance the child and family’s quality of life.

• Registered Sick Children’s/Child Branch Nurse with valid NMC Registration
• The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
• Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent time management skills
• Working knowledge of basic information technology
• Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence

• Educated to degree level or work towards.

• Evidence of further education within paediatrics & professional development in relevant area

• Experience working in the Community
