Job Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in AI engineering for the iCIMS Talent Cloud. You will assist with building Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and statistical analysis using emerging components and technologies. If you have experience in the HR domain and/or emerging Agentic technologies that is a plus.

For this role you must have demonstrated machine learning experience and strong software skills coupled with a sound theoretical base in model training and optimization. If you have deeper experience or a stronger academic background, please apply as we may have some flexibility.

Hybrid/remote work in Ireland, focused near Dublin. The team meets weekly in the iCIMS office at Dogpatch Labs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, train and deploy advanced/complex AI/ML natural language models and agents independently.
  • Evaluate advanced/complex AI/ML models and agents qualitatively and quantitatively using automated and statistical tools.
  • Build repeatable extract, clean, and transform pipelines and frameworks.
  • Define user stories and organize tasks for a full AI feature or business problem.
  • Code API interfaces to AI orchestrations and integrate them into production pipelines.
  • Define and adapt practices for reproducible, testable, ethical, efficient, and production-ready AI.
  • Lead individual initiatives that require multiple stakeholder input.
  • Ensure all work meets responsible AI practices.
  • Knowledge share with peers and stay current with changes in core practices, frameworks, and tools.
  • Investigate and resolve reported issues.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field OR equivalent learning and experience.
  • 4+ years experience implementing AI/ML products or advanced degrees.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language processing, deep learning, generative AI, and/or Agentic AI.
  • Expert with Python and data science frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
