The Amazon UK Fresh Merchandising and Space Planning team is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Space Planning Manager with a strong customer focus and analytical skills to join our team. This role requires the ability to influence decision-making across your peers, and delivering results will be a critical output. You will help execute and deliver on detailed floorplans for new stores, retrofits, and all additional changes, owning the work back timelines and data behind your outputs and communicate to team leadership on status, risks, and process changes. You will need to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple teams and levels within the organization.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage creation of floor plans for new stores, retrofits, and special projects, possessing an understanding of internal and external variables that impact our work.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external partners while meeting tight deadlines.
• Driving continuous improvement, utilising tracking mechanisms to ensure data driven choices are made that provide the highest possible CX.
• Working closely with merchandising teams to ensure there are planograms created for all space variances.
• Develop and presentation of analytics and KPIs.
• Identifying key customer metrics and utilizing them to enhance customers’ experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience using Space Planning software for floor plan production (ie: JDA/Blue Yonder).
• Experience owning projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Self-motivated while working within an ambiguous environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Experience in independently identifying and delivering a data driven operational improvement project/programs.
• Experience in designing and implementing new processes, working backwards from customer requirements.
• Experience working with cross functional teams within a physical retail environment.
• Familiarity with SQL.
