What we’re looking for 

 

The Solution Architect – Data Orchestration will combine the responsibilities of designing end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Azure and crafting the detailed data architecture that supports data management, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role integrates the high-level strategic vision of a Solution Architect with the technical depth of a Data Architect, focusing on architecting a scalable, secure, and efficient data platform that enables advanced analytics and AI across the organisation.

This role will bridge the gap between business goals and technical implementation, ensuring that both the cloud infrastructure and the underlying data architecture align to deliver value-driven solutions.

The candidate will
drive the design of our Azure-based data platform in cooperation with our Partners.

The role 

 

  • Design scalable, cloud-native data solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Define the data architecture inside our Data Platform, ensuring an optimised flow of data across the Company in alignment with Enterprise architecture
  • Translate business requirements into both high-level and detailed architectural designs that support business needs in cooperation with our Partners.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that data is available to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Ensure that the solutions are aligned with data governance policies, compliance requirements, and best practices for cloud architecture. Ensure that the data team follows best practices and adheres to established data management standards.
  • Define data management standards, including metadata management, data lineage, and master data management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data management technologies and techniques, and ensure that the team is trained in these as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to help them develop their skills and careers.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to help them improve and grow.

 

  What you bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field or comparable experience.
  • 8-12 years of experience in IT, with a focus on data platform architecture and cloud computing.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure data services.
  • Strong proficiency in data architecture principles, including data modelling, data integration, and building data pipelines.
  • Solid experience with ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks for data platforms, including encryption, role-based access, and data privacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of data professionals and business stakeholders onshore and offshore.
  • Strong Technical leadership
  • Experience in Project management
  • A track record of successfully leading data management teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, particularly in the context of integrating data, analytics, and AI workflows within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of graph databases or NoSQL databases like Azure Cosmos DB
