Job Description

You'll be joining Xplor as a Front End Developer on the Engineering team, working to advance the Xplor Active product, development of which began in 2023. The main objective of this position is to help build the web front end of the Xplor Active mobile application. This role will be on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Xplor Active is a modern, cloud-based mobile application platform dedicated to Resamania & Deciplus software customers.

Reporting to the lead tech, your main tasks will be to:

  • Develop and maintain a RESTful APIs, in collaboration with other teams (mobile, web, QA, product, devops)
  • Implement high-performance, secure backend services
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
  • Participate in code reviews and share best practices
  • Participate in release activities


Qualifications

Due to most of the team being based in France, to apply, French to CEFR C1 standard is essential.

What would make me a good candidate?

  • At least 3 years' experience in NodeJS development ideally with TypeScript
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools
  • The ability to work remotely with a team located in several countries
  • Willingness to learn and progress
  • A team spirit and a love of technical challenges

Knowledge of Docker and K8S would be an advantage.
