Software Engineer - Manipulation - work with AI technologies and develop Human-like robots. They have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer - Manipulation to join their team. This position is well-suited to ambitious and inventive person who is looking to explore the power of Artificial Intelligence.This position is based in the Software Department and answers to the Lead of Manipulation. You will work with the latest technologies to fill the workforce gap in the critical industries.Responsibilities:Collaborate with hardware engineers, AI researchers, and other software engineers to integrate manipulation capabilities into the overall robotic system.Troubleshoot and debug issues related to manipulation software, providing technical support and guidance as needed.Lead the development of manipulation software, ensuring it meets the requirements for precision, reliability, and safety.Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for robotic manipulation.Stay up-to-date with advancements in manipulation algorithms, robotic control techniques, perception technologies, and AI methodologies.Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in software development for robotic manipulation.Requirements:Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System).Familiarity with simulation tools and frameworks, such as Gazebo or V-REP.Extensive experience as a software engineer with a focus on robotic manipulation, motion planning, or related fields.Strong understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.Experience with motion planning algorithms, such as RRT, PRM, or optimization-based methods.Knowledge of perception techniques, including computer vision, depth sensing, and tactile sensing.Reasons why you should apply:Opportunity to work on the latest technologies in AI, Robotics, EdTech, MedTech and others.Startup model, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment.28 calendar days of vacation per year.
