After you pass our application process (an AI interview followed by a paid technical assessment), we’ll add you to our shortlist for future work on these projects. Being on this shortlist means you’ll get first dibs on work paying $30-$100+/hr to help our clients understand the performance of their AI models.


Required Qualifications:

  • Have experience working with one or more of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Ruby, Go, C++, Java, C#, Swift, SQL.
  • OR have experience working with more niche languages like Lisp, Haskell, OCaml, Lua, Scala, Elixir, etc.


Nice-to-haves:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, data science, machine learning, or similar fields.
  • Contributions to major open source projects.


Some more details about the role:

  • The work is fully asynchronous and remote, so you can work on your own schedule.
  • Projects are somewhat spiky in availability, but there are ongoing projects most weeks. We find our experts are usually able to work 10-30 hours per week on live projects.
  • Projects can involve analyzing model performance on a variety of code-related tasks, including code generation, debugging, refactoring, test creation, and more.
  • Projects have different hourly rates, often in the range of $30-$100+/hr. You’ll be paid for your work weekly.
