THE JOB

The aim of the role is to design and build user interfaces and apps to meet the functional requirements of Limbs & Things training products.


This role requires broad engineering skills for the design and integration of software, management and process of customer data and application of machine learning to use user information.

A pragmatic engineer with an open mind, aptitude for problem-solving and as comfortable with design and documentation as building and testing code is needed.


Familiarity with a variety of operating systems and platforms, a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail are important.


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Understand product requirements and determine how they translate into integrated software and application features.
  • Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
  • Design and help with the creation of wireframes to meet application and product requirements.
  • Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining customer information within AWS, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Utilize machine learning techniques to analyse and leverage customer information for enhanced decision-making and personalized services.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, software and integrated systems.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing, and document accordingly.
  • Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code as part of the product record.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proficiency in computer vision technologies, including OpenCV and YOLO.
  • Familiarity with image processing techniques and object detection models.
  • Comfortable to work on full-stack applications
  • Experience with Node.js for backend development.
  • Proficient with React for building interactive web applications.
  • React Native experience is a plus for mobile development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS).
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Ability to design, optimize, and maintain database schemas.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Experience with optimizing application performance for both backend and frontend.
  • Ability to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with design principles and frameworks for responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Proficient in Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including API references and design specifications.


THE PACKAGE

In return we offer a competitive salary and a performance-related bonus based on personal objectives that pays up to 5% of your salary annually, study support and the chance to progress in a rapidly growing company.
