Key Responsibilities:

  • Build necessary supporting software systems for traders like automation tools, betting control console/website
  • Build sports data pipeline, from data scraping, data processing to data management
  • Investigate and troubleshoot unexpected data issue like data missing, duplicate
  • Maintain and improve the existing software projects
  • Analyse sports betting data and give insight to non-developers like traders
  • Communication with users and stakeholders



Skills / Competencies Required:

  • MSc degree in computer science, software engineering or other related discipline
  • 3+ years’ software engineering work experience
  • Good Python development skills and OOP experiences
  • Experience with data-driven software pipeline project
  • Experience with client-server system project
  • Familiarity with data science tools like Jupyter, Pandas,Matplotlib
  • Familiarity with database tools like MySQL, MongoDB
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git
  • Ability to work across multiple projects in an agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills



Desirable skills:

  • Familiarity with data science and machine learning skills
  • Exposure to high-frequency trading and real-time data handling
  • Experience with data system design and management
  • Familiarity with sports betting software project

  • Salary: £60,000+ (DOE)
