Senior Data Scientist - Drug Discovery - fully remote in UK

About you:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:Essential criteria1. Relevant BSc degree (computer science, statistics, mathematics, bioinformatics or similar)
2. Software development, esp. Android App development (additional iOS experience would be beneficial)
3. Software tooling: queuing systems such as Apache Kafka, Docker
4. Programming languages, including Kotlin, Java, C++, Python
5. Excellent experience with the RADAR-base platform (>2yr)
6. Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) >2yr
7. Systems administration (>1yr)
8. Understanding of time series data analysis, and processing large datasets (TB, PB scale)
9. Excellent interpersonal & communication (written & verbal) skills
10. The ability to work independently without direct supervision and organise one's own timeDesirable criteria1. Relevant PhD degree (computer science, statistics, mathematics, bioinformatics or similar) or specific experience in the area
2. Experience with modern machine learning frameworks e.g. Tensorflow/PyTorch
3. Understanding of REST APIs and shareable libraries for general use
4.
