Senior Research Scientist – NLP / LLMs / AI

We are looking for aSenior Research Scientistto join a world leading technology company at their R&D site inLondon.

As aSenior Research Scientistyour responsibilities will include:

• Lead & contribute to innovative research projects.
• Develop benchmarks & baselines using publicly available datasets.
• Train Large Language Models (LLMs) on novel, practical tasks.
• Publish research findings in prestigious NLP, ML, & AI conferences & journals.
• Mentor & guide research interns.
• Engage externally by giving talks & collaborating with academic leaders.

As aSenior Research Scientistyour skills will include:

• PhD in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience post PhD within academia or industry
• Strong research background with publications in top-tier NLP/ML conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, EACL, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, ICLR, & other top-tier journals.
• A results-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in diverse, multi-cultural, multi-site environments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative research & technical team.
