The Project Manager role is a leadership position accountable for the successful delivery of a portfolio of work to a client (s). The Project Manager orchestrates a team of supervisors and engineers in the performance of their duties including but not limited to delivering contract obligations of the highest quality in the most efficient time.Position SummaryThe On-site Project Manager role is a leadership position accountable for the successful delivery of a portfolio of work to a client (s). The Project Manager orchestrates a team of supervisors and engineers in the performance of their duties including but not limited to delivering contract obligations of the highest quality in the most efficient time. The Project Manager provides inputs towards Appen developing people to meet current and future client needs and how to maximise delivery efficiencies and ensure team is capable of evolving/ scaling to meet future growth. Additionally, the Project Manager may lead internal initiatives and contribute towards developing best practice at our facility. The Project Manager will work collaboratively, supporting a virtual environment, with Appen’s Client Services team to meet all stakeholder requirements.ResponsibilitiesThe role includes but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:Develop and drive project plans and objectives to meet project scope, timeline and budget.Develop and execute delivery and quality management plans to support a project end-to-end in a matrix environment.Develop and mentor various on-site project team members to drive team key performance metrics and meet or exceed project & program targets. Drive continuous project improvements and efficiencies. Lead internal initiatives, managing stakeholders. Contribute towards developing best practice at our facility in Birmingham.Analyze and evaluate statistical reports to proactively identify and improve project performance and Client deliverables. Communicate in a timely, clear and concise manner to stakeholders including Staff, Clients and Leadership.Adapt to changing program needs and expectations.
