Together, let’s shape the future of finance with Pulse.Job role As a Product Manager for Pulse, you will have a crucial role in the evolution of our SaaS platform and APIs to ensure that we are able to continuously meet our customers’ needs. You will be responsible for the roadmap of our web application and user interface, and contribute on API initiatives, helping us to meet our customers where they are today as well as give them a path to the future.We are looking for someone who understands the value of good product management principles and how they can be used to build amazing products in the B2B space. We need someone who can develop a deep understanding of our customers and use it to help define creative solutions to the problems they face. We welcome debate and candid discussion about the pros and cons of our ideas, and the ways we can unlock value for our users. We have ambitious goals to build a data insights and analytics platform to serve a critical need in the SME market and are looking for creative and goal-oriented team players to help us achieve our mission.Key responsibilities

Discovery:

Build a deep understanding of our customers, the problems they are trying to solve and how we might help solve them.Design : Drive the design process from ideation to production, working with our design team to finesse your own well developed ideas.Delivery:

Continuously drive iterative product changes ensuring we are always delivering value to our end clients and measuring that value.Roadmap management:

Work with Pulse senior management team to manage the prioritisation of the product backlog based on customer & business impact to ensure we are always working on the most important initiatives.Collaboration:

Work closely with the Founder, Managing Director, Sales & Marketing to ensure we take our products to market effectively.Advocacy:

Evangelise and advocate for our users and our product, ensuring alignment throughout our business.Impact:

You will measure, analyse and communicate the value of product functionality, iterating where necessary to achieve our goals.You will be a self-starter, comfortable with a mix of challenges and fast pace. Day to day tasks will involve huge variety, from planning to design, to execution and presentation of your ideas back to senior stakeholders.You will be knowledgeable and comfortable engaging cross functionally and at different levels of seniority. You will be collaborative but also tenacious in order to achieve your goals for the ultimate success of our team. By understanding the product inside out and understanding its business impact, you will quantify and articulate the benefits of the Pulse product.Our ideal candidate will have

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B product management role, preferably in Financial Services and 4 to 5 years total experience in product management or closely aligned function.Experience working on data-centric SaaS or API products.Experience using Figma to a high level to create mock-ups and present ideas to customers and internal stakeholders.Experience in interviewing users and stakeholders and getting to the heart of the problem, without jumping straight to the solution.Experience in working with engineering & design teams to synthesise user feedback and translate it into valuable product outcomes.Experience in effectively prioritising initiatives to ensure we’re always concentrating our efforts in the most valuable areas.Proactive, iterative and pragmatic approach to solving problems, with the ability to find a new way when your original plan doesn’t work as expected.Excellent communication skills and ability to concisely explain the user impact of product decisions to stakeholders across multiple functions.Experience working with agile development methodologies, working closely with technology teams and other stakeholders (in different geographical locations including India) across all stages of product discovery and development.Experience working with sales & marketing teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution of product features.Experience of JIRA for backlog management and working within SCRUM methodologySelf-driven, comfortable asking difficult questions and eager to contribute with your own ideas.Analytical, clear thinking with strong attention to detail.Nice to haves include

Experience in building products for regulated industries i.e. banking (specifically Business & Commercial Banking)Demonstrated ability launching products that are Cloud/SaaS, Big Data or Machine Learning at their core.Solid technical knowledge such as experience in software development, data science or data analysis.Experience building products as part of a wider ecosystem, integrating with partners where necessaryWorking Type
