Summary


As a Senior Product Manager on Aveni's client-facing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI-powered platform to deliver maximum value for our SaaS clients. Your primary focus will be on balancing client needs and enhancing AI capabilities within our core offerings, ensuring scalability as Aveni grows. This role is integral to Aveni’s mission to revolutionise productivity in financial services through advanced AI solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, NLP, and commercial, to deliver impactful, iterative solutions that drive enterprise-wide productivity in a scalable and sustainable manner.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Product Ownership: Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Aveni’s client AI squad in conjunction with the Head of NLP. Ensure we are meeting the needs of our most valuable clients and building the tooling to generate value from our outputs sustainably.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deeply understand and advocate for the needs of our financial services clients, embedding customer feedback loops into the product development process to enhance user experience and functionality continually.
  • Roadmap Development & Prioritisation: Develop and manage a detailed product roadmap for this squad. Prioritise initiatives based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility, aligning closely with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other product teams to ensure a seamless, cross-functional development process. Drive alignment across teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions that meet both business objectives and user expectations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding client and scalability work designed to generate value from our outputs.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data and metrics to guide product decisions, measure success, and iterate on features. Establish KPIs and use data insights to prioritise, where possible.
  • Agile Product Management: Embrace an agile approach to product development, ensuring rapid iteration and continuous delivery. Break down high-level initiatives into smaller, manageable sprints and prioritise based on business and customer value.


Required Skills and Experience


  • Experience: Experienced product professional within financial services or a B2B SaaS company, ideally working with AI products.
  • Customer focused: Skilled at condensing the highest priority items from key clients and saying no to the right things.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong experience working in cross-functional squads with business sponsors.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical Mindset: Proficient in leveraging data and analytics to guide product decisions, set KPIs, and track progress.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Agile Product Management: Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience in managing agile teams or working within agile frameworks.
  • User-Centric Design: A deep commitment to building solutions that focus on customer needs, with an eye for enhancing the user experience and driving high adoption rates.
