An exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join an innovative stealth start-up in Saffron Walden to work on exciting product development from prototype to production. This company are tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Location:Saffron Walden, UK – fully on-site due to the nature of the role


Salary:£60,000 - £85,000 per annum + excellent benefits


Requirements for Senior Design & Development Engineer

  • Highly experienced in Product Development from prototype to Production
  • Proficiency in CAD Software
  • Degree educated in a relevant subject such as Eletronic Engineering, Mathematics, Physics etc
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Any exposure to RF, SDRs, or machine learning would be beneficial
  • You must be in a position to qualify for SC Clearance due to the nature of some customers


Responsibilities for Senior Design & Development Engineer

  • Work closely with diverse teams to conceptualise, design, and develop innovative products.
  • Create and refine detailed designs using CAD tools to enhance prototypes.
  • Engage in hands-on prototype construction and testing, making iterative improvements based on results.
  • Tackle complex engineering problems with creative and practical solutions.
  • Enhance product performance, reliability, and overall design quality.
