Senior Marketing Manager: Sales Funnel

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results focused Senior Marketing Manager to own and enhance our lead generation efforts and drive growth through innovative marketing initiatives across the sales funnel with different audience types. This role will focus on increasing both paid and organic leads entering the core funnel, nurturing them at different touchpoints in alignment with sales, operational, and broader marketing teams. This role will own and design ‘playbooks’, own execution for independent workstreams or lead execution through other teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Increase the volume of leads entering the core funnel, both paid and organic, through proactive marketing strategies.
  • Research & Insights: Conduct thorough research and gather insights to understand customer needs and identify market gaps, informing the development of targeted campaigns.
  • Program Design & Execution: Design and lead the execution of proactive marketing programs and campaigns, taking complete ownership of initiatives in collaboration with sales, operational, and marketing teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring they are informed about the latest marketing activities and best practices relevant to our business and customer segments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously test, refine, and optimize marketing strategies and plans based on performance metrics and industry best practices.

Key Outputs:

  • Development of Proactive Integrated Marketing Plans (IMPs) and messaging frameworks tailored to customer segments.
  • Creation and implementation of effective go-to-market strategies that resonate with target audiences.

Key Metrics:

  • Commercial Performance sale revenue
  • Increase the volume of leads entering the funnel
  • Improve core funnel conversion rates
  • Customer Satisfaction: Enhance customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) through impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue and sales growth through effective lead generation and conversion strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in leading B2B marketing campaigns with a focus on lead generation.
  • Based in an EU timezone (or west coast US, our largest market) to facilitate team collaboration and agency management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from research and performance data.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience collaborating across teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving commercial goals.
  • Able to iterate activities pragmatically and also work back from wider visions with transformational ideas.
  • Based in an EU time zone (or the US, our largest market) to facilitate team collaboration and agency management.
