An overview of the role:

You will be working with the world’s largest and most innovative CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) institutions to help them deliver on the upcoming market infrastructure transformation whether focussed on regulatory, technology or operations. 
You will have proven your delivery track record across Banking and be driven to build steady relationships across to provide value to our current and new clients. 

You will be ready for the challenge of helping to build a portfolio for the Invent brand, bringing your network and content credibility to bear. You will be typically partnering across one or more accounts and will lead on one or two. 
As a leader in the Invent Banking team, you will form a team and provide that thought leadership to drive and grow the team.

As a Senior Manager in the business, you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. 
Our people are flexible, and the scope of your role will vary with each project, in line with the breadth and depth of your experience. Our consultants are at the heart of delivering profitable outcomes in business and technology-oriented environments, working in a collaborative way with a broad range of clients to achieve their strategic goals. 

Manage and grow one or more CIB accounts across the entire Invent offering portfolio. Pro-actively open new connections and bring the team with you to maximise impact on client. Work with leading companies to developing, prioritising and delivering the CIB institutions of the future. Design and lead streams of work whilst playing a role in Capgemini’s growth through successful delivery, contributing to our offers and knowledge, as well as developing new business. Identify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful delivery and adoption of our proposed solutions into the business. Bring the right combination of style and substance, ensuring that the basics are right, whilst always focusing on we add value to our clients. Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement.

We’d love to meet someone with:

You’ll have deep Corporate and Investment and hands-on Consulting experience and you’ll have novel points of view regarding the future of the industry.

You should have practitioner knowledge of corporate and investment banking and ideally broad cross asset class experience of products gained from industry roles (for example as product controller) and in addition one or more of the following:

Experience implementing regulatory changes in capital markets (e.g, MFID, EMIR, SFTR, Market Abuse regulations etc) across the front/middle and back office in capacity of PM, analyst or change expert. Experience across consultancy or CIB firm on wholesale banking, investment banking, market infrastructure and financial technology. Knowledge of changes in financial services regulation. Understanding of 3 lines of defence and how data and controls are executed through the trade life cycle across products. Experience in developing and executing the technology roadmap for a capital markets organisation across asset classes (including views on digital/AI/Cloud/DLT and crypto). Hands-on experience of the quant model life cycle and an understanding of how it could be optimised. Knowledge and experience of ESG is highly advantageous.

You’ll also bring:

Experience in people management and proven ability to nurture and develop individuals. Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in developing, selling and delivering consulting solutions. Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions. Experience of proposition building and delivery.  Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£1m of consulting revenues.
