We match you with a BlckBx Assistant to take away your daily to do list and execute tasks end to end. Our customers are global businesses and private users who pay a subscription to use BlckBx to help remove the pain of daily life tasks and admin.

WHERE WE'RE AT

We’ve built our platform and App and it’s live with corporate clients - we’re now accelerating development in all areas including AI & Machine Learning, refining the UX and improving the customer experience. We’re fully funded and scaling fast. Client include blue chip companies like Oliver Wyman and XTX Markets.


THE ROLE

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our internal web applications, platforms and client facing websites and App. This role requires a thorough understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as an ability to work with databases and APIs. Exposure to Big Data Warehouses is advantageous.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Build and maintain scalable web applications with modern web technologies.
  • Develop, test, and deploy code in production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for our production environment.
  • Mentor junior developers (for the Senior Developer role).


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks: React, Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of database technologies: MySQL, Airtable.
  • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud services.
  • Exposure to Apache, Nginx, Linux (bonus).
  • Familiarity with Git and version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML (advantageous).


EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent industry experience 
  • Proven experience working on large-scale web applications.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.

OFFICE BASE
