Role Overview As aSenior Data Scientist within the Experimentation Platform Team, youwill develop and maintain our in-house experimentation platformthat runs all experiments at Viator. You will collaborate withsoftware engineers, analysts, and product managers to buildhigh-quality models and tools integrated into our platform. Thisrole offers flexibility to work from our European offices (Oxford,London, Lisbon, Krakow) or remotely, with regular travel to officesfor collaboration. Responsibilities 1. Identify opportunities toimprove experimentation methodologies, ensuring adherence toindustry best practices. 2. Apply advanced statistical techniquesto validate experimental findings. 3. Build and maintain datapipelines for experiment analysis. 4. Utilize causal inferencetechniques to address business problems. 5. Work with stakeholdersto define requirements for a world-class experimentation platform.Key Requirements 1. Postgraduate degree in statistics, machinelearning, or equivalent experience across the data sciencelifecycle. 2. Deep knowledge of statistical hypothesis testing andML modeling techniques. 3. Proficiency in Python (Numpy, Pandas,Scikit-learn) and SQL. 4. Effective communication skills acrossdiverse audiences. 5. Experience with A/B testing in e-commerce isa plus.
