How you'll be contributing to Accurx as a Senior DataScientist... As a Senior Data Scientist you’ll be working withinthe product community to identify key product improvements andsupport the product strategy & the roadmap: you’ll be solvingreal world problems and building a product that is going to impactevery single person in the UK! You’ll use statistical and machinelearning techniques to analyse data and develop models tounderstand key drivers and you’ll lead experimentation design toimprove the product experience of our users. You’ll lead projectsto explore and extract valuable information from our data and workclosely with the product teams to advise on data collectionimprovements. You’ll help drive the maturity of the Data Science& Analytics sub team by setting the foundation needed to moveour analysis capabilities from descriptive & diagnostic topredictive & prescriptive. Your day to day tasks, should youchoose to accept this mission ... - Solve problems adaptively andvalue rigour and simplicity over complicated solutions - Makeappropriate trade-offs between speed and accuracy as you’ll beworking in a fast-moving environment - Code for scalability,creating re-usable scripts and utilities that brings data scienceas a discipline to the next level - Work closely with ProductManagers supporting and suggesting experiments, time seriesforecasting and building predictive models (including ML) - Codefor privacy & security, keeping our users and patients privacyand security in mind all the time and suggesting processes andtechnologies for anonymisation - Work closely with Product leads indesigning and validating success metrics as well as helping them tomeasure progress and align with the business objectives (OKRssetting) - Support & mature the company data culture so thatdecisions are supported and/or driven by data We'd really like tohear from you, if ... - Proven expertise in designing, executing,and analysing complex experiments end-to-end. - Hands-on experiencewith statistical techniques (e.g., regressions, matching) andmachine learning models (e.g., Naive Bayes, XGBoost). - StrongPython and SQL skills, including writing reusable, standardisedcode and working in analytical environments like Snowflake. -Experience conducting exploratory data analysis, includingvisualisations and identifying product key drivers. - Ability tocollaborate with product teams, set success metrics (OKRs), andalign insights with business goals. - Familiarity with bestpractices for handling sensitive data, ensuring privacy andanonymity.
