Job Description We want to expand our Data Sciencefunction further within our well-established strong data-drivenCentralised Analytical department. Our Data Science mission is tobuild machine models in the production environment relative toMarketing, Customer Insights, and Safer Gambling and establish astrong culture of data-driven decision-making in our organisation'sstrategy. We are looking for a well-established Data Scientist atall levels who wants new challenges. As a Senior Data Scientist,you will work using data engineering, statistical, and ML/AIapproaches to uncover data patterns and build models. We useMicrosoft tech stack, including Azure Databricks (Pyspark, python),and we are expanding our data science capabilities. To besuccessful in the role, you will need to have extensive experiencein data science projects and have built the professional skill tounderstand when an approach to a project is not working, to pauseand change approach. The Data Science department is currently asmaller team, with an ambition to grow, with a mix of DataScientists and ML engineers. Therefore, it is an excellentopportunity to grow, contribute and challenge yourself. We are notan isolated function, so expect to work closely with businessstakeholders, data engineers, marketing analysts and BI analysts toimprove our existing models, create new models, and bring ourexpertise. Core Responsibilities - Apply advanced statisticaltechniques and ML/AI models to development and productionenvironments. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders tobuild data science products that enable others to make businessdecisions. Qualifications - Postgraduate degree in a relevantdiscipline (e.g. STEM, Maths, Statistics, Physics) or equivalentexperience. - Good data modelling, software engineering knowledge,and strong knowledge of statistical, mathematical and ML modellingare a must at this stage. - Skilful in writing well-engineeredcode. - Proven experience working with ML engineers and productionsystems (including Cloud platforms). - Proven ability to analyselarge sets and experience-built ML/AI models in production with theability to translate them into insights and actionable businessrecommendations. - Great technical and commercial communication andcollaboration skills with some presentation skills. - Passion forlearning and keeping abreast of new technologies and data models.#J-18808-Ljbffr
