20+ years recruitment experience in the digital tech space

My client is a successful and fast growth data intelligence and security risk management tech company.

They are now embarking on an innovative strategy integrating tech solutions to their strong data analytical capabilities, and are looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing and evaluating intelligence data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that contribute to actionable intelligence.
  • Utilise advanced analytical techniques and tools to assess the reliability, accuracy, and relevance of intelligence information.
  • Develop and maintain databases, data models, and analytical frameworks to facilitate efficient data analysis and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with intelligence and security professionals across the company to understand requirements and priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to advocate for high-quality data solutions.
  • Mentor more junior members of the team

Key skills/experience required:

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Data Scientist
  • Proficiency in data analysis, data mining, and statistical techniques.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working with large data sets and attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Proficiency utilising Python or R (5+ years’ experience)
  • Familiarity with conventional statistical models (linear/logistic regression, t-tests, ANOVA)
  • Experience in collecting, organising, and analysing data from diverse sources.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

This is a hybrid role - their offices are located in central London.

Please note - it is essential that you are eligible for Security (SC) clearance, or have it already
