Senior Data Scientist - Tech For Good - Up to £70k + 10% Bonus

Location: London - Hybrid

This scaling tech for good are on a mission to reduce societal inequality by helping local authorities use data more effectively. Their AI-driven platform empowers frontline workers with the insights they need to prevent complex issues like homelessness or children being taken into care - before they happen. Looking to grow by 30% this year they are looking to hire multiple Senior Data & Analytics Consultants to join the team.

The Role

As a Senior Data Scientist Consultant, you will be a key member of the Data & Analytics Consulting team, responsible for the technical configuration and deployment of the platform. Working directly with clients to deliver seamless software implementation, data extraction, data engineering, data science, product configuration, and data visualisation.

You will independently manage all technical aspects of client deployments and support clients throughout the process. Collaboration is essential - you will work closely with Business Consultants, Information Governance, Platform Delivery, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the solutions deliver real-world impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical Delivery - Support client technical teams with data extraction, script adaptation, and data quality resolution
  • Project Management - Scope and manage all technical aspects of client deployments, ensuring smooth delivery and clear communication
  • Stakeholder Management - Communicate complex technical concepts simply and clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience across data engineering, data science and predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, and familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), data formats (CSV, JSON, XML), and deployment tools (ADF, Azure ML)
  • A passion for social impact and a drive to help us succeed

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with public sector clients
  • Familiarity with privacy, security, and information governance in data projects
