What your job will be


The Data and Analytics team are playing an important role in Wealthify’s growth ambitions.


We want to transform the way we communicate with our customers. To gain deeper understanding of their relationship with us including their digital journeys. To use insight and analytics to help design new products and propositions that support our customers and help them to grow their wealth. To provide intelligence to the business that enables them to make the right strategic decisions to drive business performance and improve customer experience.


In your role as Senior Data Scientist you’ll


  • utilise our data science capability to predict likelihood to convert. Build logistic regression and machine learning models.
  • help deliver a data driven omni-channel communication strategy, systemic comms sent to the right customers, for the right reasons at the right time to convert more prospects, cross-sell and better retain our customers.
  • build timely triggers based on indicators of customer need.
  • create insight to inform messaging and how we segment our customers.
  • measure the incremental impact of our customer communications.
  • help to deliver programmes of test and learn across customer communications, set up to be measurable.
  • take technical information and translate effectively into comprehensive, relevant and useful presentation/communication.


What we’re looking for

We don’t need you to tick all these boxes (in fact we’d encourage you to apply even if you don’t!), but this gives you an idea of what we are looking for:


  • Proven experience in Data Science, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment and/or within Financial Services.
  • Build new propensity models (regression / machine learning) to enable us to grow the number of products our customers have with us, increase their balance and to retain more customers
  • Enhance our 600-attribute modelling dataset as new source of data become available
  • Help identify and utilise data science techniques and developments in AI.
  • Evidence of having influenced programmes of omni channel customer contact to generate income.


Experience in the following or similar:


  • SQL and Python programming languages
  • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Big Query - not essential but useful
  • Power BI (or similar)
  • Working in Public Cloud environment, preferably Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management; the ability to consult and provide insights and recommendation to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to take the initiative and be innovative.
