Acxiom is looking for a commercially oriented, forward-thinking Senior Data Analyst who is enthusiastic about helping the world’s largest brands better understand their customers and activate those insights for increased business outcomes. You will report to the Head of Consulting & Analytics EMEA.

This client-facing role - on a key account - requires a deep wealth of analytical, data product, and business skills applied through the execution of data-driven analytical solutions in marketing. You understand business use cases and take on responsibility for data analysis and data science solutions through the entire process of customer insights, analytical modeling, and reporting using industry-leading principles, advanced statistical methodologies, and state-of-the-art algorithms i.e. AI / Machine learning.

You are a proactive thought leader with effective communication and presentation skills who is innovative as well as aware of current privacy/compliance laws. Furthermore, you can take part and contribute to the continued growth and partnership of the client as a key part of a team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. This is a full-time client-facing role on Heathrow that requires strong client management skills and sound commercial awareness.
  2. Support Acxiom’s Heathrow account team, Heathrow marketing teams, and Heathrow suppliers/agencies in the tactical planning, coordination, execution, and optimization of multi-channel customer and prospect communications. This is a high-volume role, including the measurement, analysis, and reporting of 25+ campaigns per month for all CRM activities; working in a highly collaborative and close-knit team is essential.
  3. Be the proactive analytics leader in enabling Heathrow to truly understand their data and deliver better value from it through data-driven actionable insights and advanced analytical techniques that deliver significant business outcomes.
  4. Provide strategic advice to Heathrow on all aspects of data and analytics including best practices, future-proofing solutions, and value realization roadmaps.
  5. Prepare and present all analytics work and results for internal and client stakeholders; and be able to apply creative thinking to influence others.
  6. Define requirements including data sources, statistical methods, and implementation.
  7. Own the preparation, creation, communication, and completion of all internal and external analytics-related documentation for the client.
  8. Detailed knowledge of Acxiom data products.
  9. Data analysis using 1st Party and 3rd Party data.
  10. Fluent programming skills in SQL and R or Python.
  11. Experience in Salesforce Data Cloud and/or other Customer Data Platforms.
  12. Experience in Google Cloud Platform and/or other cloud analytical environments.
  13. Experience in Tableau + other data visualization tools.
  14. Experience building customer segmentation – market, lifestyle, behavioral, attitudinal, geographical, etc.
  15. Experience in propensity and predictive modeling i.e. Next Best Action.
  16. Ability to be both an integral team player and work independently to follow a project through the development lifecycle.
  17. Work closely with the Acxiom EMEA analytics team to improve performance and provide subject matter expertise on thought leadership initiatives.
  18. Excellent presentation skills.
  19. Ability to mentor others.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in leading analytical projects and client relationships.
  2. Proven experience in crafting, building, and delivering analytical solutions serving the biggest brands in business.
  3. Expert knowledge of data quality, identity resolution, database concepts, data management, modeling, and analysis.
  4. Expertise in data visualization and analytical storytelling, with the ability to translate business needs into analytical strategies.
  5. Expert-level knowledge of software for marketing analytics, data science, statistical modeling & ML/AI.
  6. Experience developing customer and market segmentations for paid and owned media activation.
  7. Fluent in English.
