Job Description

Sia is looking for a talented Senior consultant in financial services to support our FS practice in London serving mainly Tier 1 companies. The consultant will work closely with our clients' teams, leading cross-functional initiatives around large transformation, and high-stakes projects.

The role offers the opportunity to develop experience and skills across our wider group of clients supporting a range of projects in other sectors; business development being closely involved in commercial activity; and Sia’s next generation consulting practices, pushing the boundaries on what consulting is.

As part of the client engagements, the senior consultant will be expected to:

  1. Lead multiple work streams to execute against project plans
  2. Generate, manage and deliver program/project charters including vision, governance model, high-level scope, goals, benefits, risk/issue management and success metrics
  3. Identify and manage program dependencies between projects and milestones
  4. Demonstrate ability to communicate directly with leadership
  5. Facilitate requirements gathering and drive creation of integrated project plans and timelines
  6. Manage client expectations and communications throughout the delivery of the project
  7. Integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and solve problems

The consultant will also be expected to support business development activity by:

  1. Supporting proposals and business development activities by identifying new target clients, along with building and sustaining trust-based relationships with key executives
  2. Support teams through daily execution of activities, deliverables, project plans, and client presentations, while championing recruiting efforts to grow the practice
  3. Assist in developing thought leadership and building solutions and methods with global teams
  4. Support the Sia FS practice

Qualifications

  1. Mandatory experience delivering projects within Financial Services
  2. Mandatory experience in Asset Management and/or Finance Transformation and/or Performance Management
  3. Data Analysis skills
  4. Candidates must have a flexible mindset and be open to learning and continuing to develop their skills across a variety of clients and projects
  5. Consulting and audit experience preferred

Skills & Attributes for success:

  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. Client-facing Management Consulting experience
  3. 3+ years of program/project management experience
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
