Are you an experienced Data Scientist or Machine Learning Consultant with a background in Defence, Security, or a public sector organisation? Do you thrive on solving complex challenges using cutting-edge AI and machine learning? Join us as a Senior Data Science & Machine Learning Consultant, where you'll deliver impactful projects for key clients, including the Intelligence Service, while driving innovation and practice development in this high-stakes field.

What We're Looking For:

Extensive Hands-on Experience: Proven track record of applying data science and machine learning in Defence/Security, public sector, or academia.Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of various machine learning architectures, including Transformers, CNNs, and Generative AI, with the ability to assess their relevance to real-world applications.Communication and Influence: Strong skills in presenting complex issues clearly, preparing insightful reports, and engaging diverse stakeholders effectively.Collaborative and Productive: Skilled at building strong relationships with clients and team members and contributing actively to practice development.Practice Development: Demonstrated contributions, such as developing new propositions, mentoring junior colleagues, and supporting bid work.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in applying machine learning techniques to text, audio, image, or video analysis. Familiarity with Cloud-based Data Science and ML toolkits from AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in Python, including best practices for high-quality code and familiarity with popular data and ML libraries. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Strong grasp of statistics, probability, and ethical AI considerations. Experience with workflow/pipelining frameworks such as Kubeflow, MLFlow, or Argo.
