What you'll be doing:

1. Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Own and drive revenue growth in theUK, Ireland, and Nordics, ensuring Apgar establishes a strong foothold.
  • Lead commercial responses toRFPs and proposals, collaborating with technical teams.
  • Engage deeply withclient requirements, asking the rightstrategic questionsto uncover business needs.
  • Participate insales meetings, especially thesecond callafter an SDR’s initial outreach, to qualify prospects and progress them through the sales cycle.
  • Develop and execute ago-to-market strategyaligned with Apgar’s global objectives.
  • Maintain an accuratesales pipeline, providing regular revenue forecasts.

2. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships withkey decision-makersin enterprises across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
  • Developaccount plansfor strategic customers to expand business opportunities.
  • Work closely withexisting customers, ensuring high satisfaction and identifyingupsell or cross-sell opportunities.

3. Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships

  • Act as theface of Apgar in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, building credibility with clients and prospects.
  • Represent Apgar atindustry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Use storytelling techniquesto effectively communicate Apgar’svalue proposition and business impact.
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with technology partnersto strengthen Apgar’s local presence.
  • Plan and execute marketing eventsincollaboration with Apgar’s strategic partnersto drive brand awareness.
  • Provide insights intomarket trends and competitor activityto inform strategic decisions.

4. Commercial & Contractual Management

  • Oversee the creation, negotiation, andmanagement of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)to ensure clarity in service delivery.
  • Ensure timely and accurateinvoicing, working closely with finance teams to track payments and resolve issues.
  • Managecontractual obligationsand mitigate risks related to client agreements.
  • Definecommercial modelsthat align with client needs while maintainingprofitability.

5. Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely withthe central SDR teamto refine lead qualification and outreach.
  • Collaborate with Apgar’smarketing teamto tailor campaigns for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, and ensure an appropriate andlocally-focused digital presence(including website and LinkedIn).
  • Ensure smooth handover of closed deals todelivery teams, ensuring customer success.
  • Providesales forecasts and performance reportsto the leadership team.


You are…

  • 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Advisory, or BI.
  • Strong storytelling skills– able to articulate Apgar’s value in a compelling, client-relevant way.
  • Technical background (preferred)to better engage with prospects on complex data topics.
  • Experience handling RFPs, digging deeper into client requirements, and preparing strategic questions.
  • Proven track record ofclosing complex, high-value dealsin enterprise software or consulting.
  • Experience in responding toRFPs and commercial proposals.
  • Strong understanding ofdata management solutionsand their business impact.
  • Ability toengage C-level executivesand decision-makers.
  • Preferably experience in Services companies, though not mandatory.
  • Familiarity withselling into SAP, TIBCO, Semarchy, Informatica, or similar data solutionsis a plus.
  • Excellentcommunication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to workindependentlyin a remote setup while collaborating with global teams.
