Overview

As a Sales & Marketing Data Analyst you will work across the Home Surveys business unit, producing high quality analysis and insights. You will interact with a varied group of stakeholders to drive up the understanding of customers across the organisation, helping to shape future strategies, improve customer experience, deepen engagement, drive revenue, and improve business efficiencies.

The role will support the Head of Marketing in scaling the Home Surveys proposition. Significant problem solving will be required, and a creative and innovative approach is essential!

The Role

Develop analyses related to understanding customers, CRM, marketing performance, and broader Insight requirements. Perform critical analysis of the performance of each route to market: . B2B2C – active / inactive / new referral partners / productivity and conversion stats; D2C - aggregators / lead gen management / conversion performance by LCP (sales) teams. Create forecasting and measure campaign performance across Marketing channels; true incrementality, ROI and attribution. Linking dynamic lead gen (paid for / aggregator) to operational capacity. Margin accretive analysis – utilisation / pricing. Hot and cold spot forecasting - linking to immediate and future targeted campaigns. Support on deep-dives and incremental analysis into performance to generate actionable insights. Be an active member of the wider data community across the division, engaging with colleagues across business support functions, in particular Finance. Bring external thinking to the Organisation by maintaining an awareness of analytics usage across the property and/or other related sectors (. Financial Services) and by keeping abreast of competitor technology and developments. Support the growth of new channels and services with key analysis and information. Support the creation of a business case and implementation of a new CRM system. Alongside the Head of Marketing, help build relationships with key stakeholders from across the business and translate ambitions and goals into analytical challenges.

Knowledge and Expertise

Significant experience working with large and complex data sets, across multiple systems/platforms. Proven experience of working with customer data to find key insights to inform and drive change within the business. Strong attention to detail and willing to take the time to ensure the accuracy of work. Good understanding of the importance of Data Governance and good Data Quality. Experience of web analytics and marketing campaign analysis - specifically GA4 & Google Ads. Experience of analysing customer behaviour, impacts of personalisation and conversion rate optimisation analysis. Understanding of the value of analysis and data science, and ability to apply a commercial lens, prioritising the actions and usefulness of outputs. A good storyteller who can bring that value to others - you know numbers don't always speak for themselves and have excellent visuals to support.

Experience, qualifications and requirements

Essential:

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. An analytical mind set, with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau, with a preference for a demonstrated track record of successful implementation and utilisation. Knowledge of web analytics platforms and sales CRMs.

Desirable:

Property industry or Financial Services experience a distinct advantage
