We’re Mezze, the market-leading all-in-one B2B ordering platform for food manufacturers. As a fast-growing and successful SaaS company, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Software Sales Executive to help drive the success of our B2B ordering solution for the food industry.


This is a hybrid role with occasional travel to client sites and team meetings in Bristol. You’ll be part of a supportive team with strong leadership, great marketing and lead generation, and a portfolio of referenceable tier 1 clients in the food sector. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year experience in a quota carrying consultative software sales role – preferably SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) & ideally selling enterprise level solutions and B2B
  • Able to present and demonstrate software to clients, in person and remotely
  • Looking for a long term career in sales and career growth
  • Demonstrated history of achievement, success, and hard work
  • Self motivated and would like the ability to influence this new role’s direction
  • Ambitious, competitive, confident communicator and eager to learn.
  • Proven ability to understand the client's business issues and consult on solutions that align to their requirements
  • Good relationship building skills, ability to uncover requirements for a tailored solution and good closing skills
  • Knowledge of Food industry, ERP solutions & software integration would be an advantage

As a SaaS Sales Consultant your role entails:

  • Develop your own leads & pipeline within the defined target base from a CRM solution with 7000+ target contacts through Outbound calling, LinkedIn & email outreach (amongst others) - supported by marketing team and other external teams
  • Qualify & present to leads sourced by our telemarketing team along with other inbound leads from website/LinkedIn, etc
  • Engage with prospective organisations through strategic, value-based selling techniques
  • Position the Mezze software solution and articulate its value based upon customer's needs
  • Sell the solution based on business benefit and value, through a series of remote and face to face sales meetings and demonstrations
  • Hold discovery calls to further qualify the lead and uncover objectives, challenges and pain points
  • Building rapport, trust and respect with your clients over the course of our 6-12 months sales cycle.
  • Bring the right Mezze SME’s into to the fold at the right time in the sales process
  • Owning the full sales cycle, Objection handling, building a business case from actual results and demonstrating a projected ROI. Negotiating, closing and signing contracts.
  • Create excitement, use your own creativity and initiative to build your pipeline and play to your skills.
  • Working towards revenue focused targets and monitoring performance regularly with your team, managers and SLT.
  • Develop strong domain and vertical expertise to help develop solutions that promote long-term engagement with Mezze.
  • Developing a deep knowledge of the Mezze solution, the problems facing B2B food manufacturing companies and how Mezze helps to solve them, enabling you to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits

This is an incredible opportunity to work in an early-stages tech startup, helping food manufacturers digitise using our SaaS platform, which is built from scratch internally. We own the platform and control the direction of the Roadmap, which includes very exciting new features like native apps, forecasting and machine learning. Location


We are based in central Bristol but work remotely primarily. While we would prefer candidates to be local we are open to all applicants willing to commute at least 1 day a week to Bristol.
